Riley Tied The Knot With Her College Sweetheart

Riley and her love met for the first time in college in 2018. Gaines enrolled at the University of Kentucky after completing her high school studies at Station Camp High School.

She majored in health sciences. She got a spot on the university's Kentucky Women's Swim Team.

Her love of life joined the university to study business administration and management. Another common thing about the couple is their passion for sports.

During her freshman year, Gaines won a bronze in the 800 free relays at the SEC championships. She even won the Freshman Award at the end of the year. By the end of college life, she had won multiple races with numerous golf and bronze medals.

Likewise, her college sweetheart swam in three events at the SEC Championships in his freshman year. The following year, he did his best in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, and 200 freestyle at the Ohio State Winter Invite.

Riley Gaines wedding took place on 29 May 2022. Gaines took the vows with her college sweetheart Louis.

The bride looked stunning in a snowy-colored beaded halter bodycon mini dress. The dress is also available at the Lulus which costs around $88. With that, she completed her bridal look with the same color heel and a veil.

Family Members

Riley Gaines family members include her parents Brad Gaines and Telisha Gaines and siblings.

The twelve-time American swimmer was born on April 23, 2001, to her sportsperson father and mother. They have always been supportive of the athlete. Her parents taught her to value education, athletics, and community service from a young age.

Sports run in the blood of the Gaines household. Her grandfather Buddy Gaines used to play football and baseball at Murray State.

Her uncles Chris, Jeff, and Greg were multisport stars at old DuPont High. The first one went on to Vanderbilt to become an All-AMerica linebacker, while Greg played in the NFL for nine years.

Similarly, Riley's sister Taylor (24) is also one of the top female athletes in the Midstate. In 2016, she opened the softball season with a no-hitter. At the time, she used to play as a senior pitcher at Station Camp.
